Nice one Saints

I went to the Warriors-Dragons game at Kogarah on sunday and I just want to say what a great ground and bunch of fans you have at Kogarah. The hill there really is a pleasant place to watch a game, the queue for beer is non-existant, and the Saints fans really create an atmosphere with the sea of red and white they come decked out in. I was there in my Warriors jersey and depite (along with the many other kiwis there) copping plenty of good natured stick from the Saints fans (which we gave back with interest ;-) ) it was all conducted in the best possible spirit and I didn't see one bit of trouble. It really was an example of the true spirit that of our game and a reminder of what a great time a day at the footy can be. One thing though... you lot really do moan about the ref too much!!!
But in all seriousness well done St-Gearge Illawarra, your club is a credit to the NRL.

Geez, I wish I had of known you were there mate. I flew down for the day. We had beers in the club before and after as well.
Not the result we wanted but it was real good day to catch up with friends.

I'll second you there Willow, always nice to get some positive feedback.
Unfortunatly I was standing at the top of the hill and had a Newcastle fool behind me who went out of his way to stir the crowd after the 1st two tries. A quiet whisper in his ear and he was VERY subdued for the remainder of the game, kept on thinking he had moved on but every time I looked behind he was there quietly sipping on his beer.

Sticks - Dictates terms like Norm Provan, especially in the company of fools.

Mate if the Warriors are playing within a couple of hours train ride of Sydney, it's a safe bet I'll be there. I'm only missing the Newcastle game because it's a friday night and I probably couldn't make it to Marathon after work in time.
