Nick Grahma should do the right thing by the club and take a pay out for next year and free up some money, instead of paying him 200k to play PL give him 100k and let him free up 100k

He should but why would he ????

Also he isn't on 200K a year that was his potential contract earnings but he will be earning closer to 120K rfor this year at most and thats why he was trying to go to Brisbane because they apperantly spoke in his ear and offered him more than what we did - and well how stupid must we feel now :(

Why should he? Would you give back half your earnings to your employer so they could go & find someone to replace you & give it to them?

Wests Tigers contracted Nick Graham to play football to the best of his ability, knowing that he was getting on in years, & that his spot in the team could be taken by a young up & comer at any time. It was a bad decision.

However, Graham is fulfilling his contractual obligation & Wests Tigers must & will do the same.

I gotta give Nick a pat on the back though. It would be easy for him to sit back and just play the games of PL. But to his credit he's getting involved and playing well but perhaps most importantly i see him talking a lot to his teamates, its good to see him really putting in at the moment, he still looks like he's enjoying his football too.

Mate,
I'm no fan of his but I'm sure he's doing his job to the best of his ability, which is all you can ask. You can't expect him to knock back what will probably be his last pay cheque as a footballer just because his club overestimated his worth. I'm sure he still has hopes of regaining his spot this year & next, & contribute to any success we might have.

There's a big difference to trying your guts out but not having the goods and doing diddley squat because you don't care.

You can't get sacked for the former.

Nick is a great bloke, but he is not what this club needs. We have a stack of average players... we need a few stars
