Nigel Plum Released

Nigel Plum has sought and been granted a release effective immediately to sign for the Canberra Raiders. His deal with the Raiders goes from niow until the end of 2009.

Wish him all the best and hope that those signature hits he puts on will contuinue to terrorise other clubs (except Newtown of course).

Brian Canavan is quoted as saying that this is consistent with the youth policy of the Roosters and with Myles, Flannery and Beattie returning, there will be a surplus of back row forwards.

Sorry to see him leave and not be able to play for the Jets any more.

More disruption ahead of this weeks crunch game against the 'dogs.

"Not So Keen On Doug" was a funny user name.

FWIW Doug got us a couple of players from Walget (sp) this year and they are good blokes and good footballers.

ALSO FWIW there is nothing comedic about my onfield performance
