How did we all think Nigel Vagana went last night?

I feel that he and Bailey can't play on the same side of the field. Bails doesn't like passing the ball, so with Vagana on his outside he won't get much ball.

When he did get the ball, there were plenty of good strong runs, so that looks promising.

His defence was also good, especially for his first game after a shoulder operation. I'm a bit worried about the high tackle though. :(

He can hit a hole which is something the backs have been missing. Sully drifted across and Nigel hit the hole at full speed and nearly go got away had it not of been for that high shot on him.

Everytime they threw it out wide to him he looked like he could make something happen.

Good return from injury and a nice debut.

Potential. He'll get better as he settles back into the game. Needs better service from the guys inside him (drop Bailey!)

Nigel played pritty well with the limited opportunity he had, hopefully he can find some space in the weeks to come he might open up after his first try in shark colours.

He may get 1 week, but you never know with the judiciary he probably should get let of thats my tip!

It's not the hight tackle that's the worry, it was th re-injuring of the shoulder !!

anyone else notice him cradling his shoulder for the last 20 mins ?

yet he STILL broke tackles and ran strong..........

He said he just fell bad on his shoulder and that he'd be fine on the footy show today.

I doubt he will miss any time with that high tackle...

Vagana is all class. We've got to use him more often. I was disappointed that play seemed to be directed away from him on Saturday. I agree Bailey got in the way on Saturday night. And so many times passes were thrown to McGoldrick and he dropped them.

The high tackle will probably only earn him 93 demerit points, if in the worse case scenario that he is charged. He shouldn't miss a week.

 Vagana showed glimpses of what he brings to our club. He will improve and so will the Sharks. I hate to say it but I was wrong on him staying in the centres. Get him in at 5/8th, now!

Yeah apparently Rauhihi sat on it or something. He was on the footy show and said it'd be fine.

I'm more concerned with this High tackle and whether he'll be cited and charged or not.

Don't worry about the high shot. It's nothing.

More of a worry is him not getting the ball and the expectation that he'll solve all our problems.

I don't expect him to solve all our problems. I expect him to solve the problem we had at right centre last year and perhaps 5/8th until Bird comes back.

The tackle looked to me like it came off the shoulders - hopefully in the match review he wont even be charged
