Nigeria to play rugby league

A domestic competition is now in its infancy in Nigeria.

The man behind it is Uche Ezechiogbe.

They have conducted 2 rugby league clinics in 2013 and 2014.

New Zealand referee Simon Taylor will be arriving in October to help Nigeria achieve observer status.

Sorry for the delay. I had issues getting into my email.

I believe the intention is for a standard 13's competition.
But the facebook page gives the impression of beach rugby activity.
