No buzz on the team for this week?

Any news on changes for this week SLE?

What do others think? What's Raper going to do this week?

Will he drop Dykes after one of his best games?

Will he drop Noddy?

Will he recall Vagana?

Will Beau Scott finally get the ass?

Where will Kearney be this week?

What's the chances of seeing Mitch Brown play fullback?

What team would you pick?

Mine.

1. Brown
2. Albert
3. Moke
4. Pomeroy
5. Covell
6. Kearney
7. Dykes
8. Douglas
9. Kimmorley
10. Stosic
11. Williams
12. Thompson
13. Gallen

14. Villasanti
15. Ciraldo
16. Timani
17. Kingston

No one that is leaving (officially).

Noddy at hooker? Reefy's idea not mine. I wanna see if it works. Next week Dykes to hooker and Noddy at half. I wanna see if that works too.

f**k it, what do we have to lose?

Raper won't be blooding any newbies, that would make too much sense.

I think he's worried about us coming 2nd last (a very real possibility) so I think he will pick what he thinks is the strongest side. So basically it will be last weeks side, perhaps with 1 or 2 changes.

The side I'd pick would be

Brown
Bott
Moke
Pomeroy
Covell
Kearney
Dykes
Villasanti
Kingston
Timani
Wierdo
Ciraldo
Hilder

Douglas
Kimmorley
Selmes
Fin/Doig

Gallen and Thommo get the rest of the year off. Kimmorley interchanges with Dykes, or if Brown has a shocker, Kearney to the back and Kimmorley to half with instructions to feed Dykes the ball exactly the same way as he did against the pennies.

Star Timarni is out with an injured knee
Moke needs more size, as in Browns case last year.
I'd put Thommo to bench, Gall to 2nd row & Ciraldo lock.
Poor Selmes would be in the team if he wasn't injured.

the spectre of 2nd last will ensure the strongest possible team is selected.
I hope Greg Pierce really considers this as a mistake in the performance review, that also includes him.

OK.

That's interesting. I always thought Moke was pretty big for a centre.

Doesn't look like there are going to be alot of changes then?

I thought Selmes made an early recovery. Bummer for him.

Whats the go with Loo Loo SLE? Initially he was only supposed to be gone till round 22.

Not near as big as I thought he was when he played for the Roosters, Macca. Reasonable, but not setting the world on fire in PL, IMO.
I just hope Brown is not made the scapegoat for last week's debacle. Dropping a winger or low profile player seems to be our style. Nige was an exception, and he came up with the goods in PL last week. Too bad the season's nearly gone. A week in PL (on rotation) for a number of them could have had positive results.

Ankle....all season

hmm, who would have thought the Sharks site could be wrong with the injury time

Fingers crossed he comes back next year more fired up than ever.

He's moving on, why not give his spot to a youngster who gets 2 games to shine before next season kicks off.

That said Bails would have a spot in my regular team.

Keep him in - poor newbie that has Cooper running at him on debut - may not do much for the confidence to face off against the likes of either of their 2 centres.

Thats a good point Spider. My side would look like this:

1. Brown
2. Bott ( give him a chance to shine-I believe he is still unsigned?)
3. Pom
4. Bails
5. Covell
6. Kearney
7. Dykes
8. Stosic
9. Kingston
10. Douglas
11. Villa (gives us size for the opening exchanges)
12. Williams
13. Gallen

14. Ciraldo
15. Thompson (been a bit off, fire the blood nut up)
16. Any PL prop, we are a bit depleted atm unfortunately
17. Hilder

Albert would not be in my experimental team simply because he has a contract for next year, I don't believe Bott does so give him a chance, he had some great games for the Broncs, so i'd like to see him given a chance to battle Albert for the wing position reserved for a speedster.

Noddy to be 'injured' for the rest of the season

My team?

1. Albert (Best game ever for us at fullback - leave him there)
2. Brown
3. Pomeroy
4. Bailey
5. Covell
6. Kearney
7. Dykes
8. Thompson
9. Kingston
10. Douglas
11. Williams
12. Ciraldo
13. Gallen

14. Moke
15. Villasanti
16. Stosic
17. Hilder

I'd like to of seen Star and other young guys get a run but they are hurt as SLE said. Look out last week's pack in PL

Hutch MAIAVA
PROP

Brett FINN
HOOKER

Sitaleki TIMANI
PROP

Darren MAPP
2ND ROW

Luke HARLEN
2ND ROW

Jardine BOBONGIE
LOCK

All leaving are they not?(Bar star who is hurt this week...) If Bobongie was to stay he might be a shot in the number 17 as the impact hooker.

I'm assuming so i thought he only got a 1 year deal? He was a jet last year not a shark also so I don't think the club wants to fight for him? Different CEO could be different but?
