the way i see it, we are one of the best teams fighting for the bottom 3 spots. those teams are cronulla, parramatta, souths, tigers, panthers, bulldogs, knights. cronulla have put a nice run, but we are better. parramatta are not good, tigers are imploding, souths suck, panthers are good so far but i would back the warriors, bulldogs suck, we are better than the knights.

it would be unacceptable to miss the 8.

Top 5 is pretty set now and thanks to our recent slump we're out of it, but I agree we're good enough to finish in the 6-8 group.

Results have gone our way so far this weekend. Could end up as high as 6th if Knights get creamed by Cowboys tomorrow night. Doubt that'll happen though. So we're likely to end the round in 7th.

The knights only need to lose by 3 to drop a place to us. Still without Thurston at the Cows thats still doubtful. The upshot of that though is it leaves the Cowboys only 4 points ahead of us, which means we could potentially catch them if they struggle without JT.

They'd certainly be nervous if they ended up facing us in week one of the finals for sure.
