I like Rick Stone but one of my criticisms from his first reign was his blind loyalty, I honestly could not name the last player that got dropped (not counting guys who got replaced by players coming back from injury/suspension)

Although the Knights possess the one and only exception to the rule in Kurt Gidley.

Don't really understand your post but more effort doesn't always lead to positive results. If a fly wants to leave a room, if the window is closed, no matter how hard he tries to smack it, he won't get through. Being skart is generally better than pure effort.

That WAS my point. Newcastle Knights are the exception to any rule. Gidley in particular.

Did you not read about his comments at last weeks post match press conference, and the response on here with regard to them?

You can't teach "smart" either. That is the problem.
