No kick for benji

I am thinking Benji should no longer do any of the general and tactical kicking all these kicks should be left for robbie or lui,let him do his kickchase here and there or maybe as a last resort but thats it....

ps Ithink his goal kicking is getting better sloooowly ....

tactical kicking is fine- but needs to stand a little deeper....

Goal-kicking is getting better- but its only up to 60%....he has all the ability just needs the consistency... Supposedly he was unable to train with the new goal kicking coach (JT) at the start of the year due to injury... maybe that is why he started so poorly...

1 day doesnt make a season. Lets see how he kicks in the next few weeks before jumping the gun. He always kicks it sweetly, just his accuracy is farked.

I notice at least once or twice last nite Lui on one accoasion at DH, and farah at 1st rec for the kick....I think its already happening his kicking role being reduced

He doesn't seem to swing it much - just straight. And he usually only just misses- shame this is not afl as we'd get sumthin...

Lui and farah should be doing the long kicks, Lui has a massive boot on him. As Eddie said it was great seeing the first decent bomb from a tigers player since Scott prince played.

Lui has a great bomb but hardly a massive boot - his long kicking game needs work.

Well, Benji missed a penalty in front yesterday that could have been costly.

Isn't there anyone else that can take the kicks?

Also its a certainty that at least once a game he will kick out on the full in general play.

Hate to have to bring it up again but WTF.

There has to be a better kicker. f**k me.

Did anyone notice that he does not look up at the post before kicking, only looks at the ball. I was taught to imagine a triangle, picture it, 3 points being the ball and the posts. At training they mark it out with witches hats, yet he does not look up once.

Even after carving up, the extra confidence did not help, was more interested in booting the crap out the ball rather than kick it.

The fact that he wont even consider another kicker astounds me.... he says " Benji would have Been disappointed with a couple of his kicks ...but from the sideline its always hard ...."


It look like he took offense at the suggestion Benji is a poor kicker....FFS it will cost us sooner or later...probably in a major semi......why can he not see it- every other dope can...but he is oblivious....

Benji's goal kicking had improved in the last month until tonight, most his kicks were from the sideline, however he missed two relatively simple ones.

Other than that, the last two weeks in particular his general play kicking game has been exceptional I think, so good on him.
