No TAB outlets at major sporting grounds in NZ

Recently when I went to nz and I went to 3 major sporting grounds in Mt Smart , Edan park and Wesptac Stadium.

I found it really weird that none have TAB outlets that you can go put a punt on before the game or during the game. Most Sporting outlets in Australia have TAB's well most of the major ones.

Is there any real reason to this or just people don't punt much ?

Eden park does have a TAB outlet at the ground. Not to sure on the other grounds.. Mt Smart definitley doesn't have one. It doesn't bother me too much I'm a bit of a punter I just use my galaxy (IMO kicks the Iphone) When I'm at the ground.

I'm sure Mt smart used to have a portable one that parked up near the north end, but that was a few years back.

Yeah thought they might have had a van at least. Noticed this when I was at Mt Smart a few weeks ago
