He's only a chance but it's a good sign

This is embarrassing to say but i woke up this morning and thought about how cold it was and hoped Noddy kept his hammy warm and didn't try and stretch out to much in the cold.... lol is that sad or what ??

it's a balancing act really. Don't bring him back early and negate the risk a serious long term injury or, go for broke and play him against the rat rooters.

SHARKS halfback Brett Kimmorley is hopeful of making a return from injury against the Roosters on Sunday as his team remains desperate to stay in the finals race.

Kimmorley, who injured his hamstring in the lead-up to the second Origin match, ran for the first time on Monday.

"As the week builds up, I'll get a better idea of how it is," Kimmorley said. "I haven't run for three weeks so obviously how confident I am will depend on how quickly I go from jogging to full pace."

Back to the thread....

I think he's unlikely to play - and I definitely want him to be 110% (whatever happened to that show?) fit.

But if he's out there training with the guys then hopefully he can show Kent some 5th tackle options. It's this lack that causes frustration which leads to individuals trying to be "creative" and then we hand over the ball with silly/hospital/impossible passes.

BTW: if we lose this week (likely) and beat Eels, Storm, Cowboys (possible) we still have a good chance if certain other games go our way. Check out the nrl finals calculator

I heard him on 2UE last night and from his tone i would be very doubtful that he will play. Hammies are a funny thing - you think it's right and then the slightest reflex action an bang it goes again. Noddy seems intent on not doing any further damage and will not play unless 100%. He has only been given the OK to start running again. A lot more work is required for him to be fit for NRL.

No point in him playing this week. We don't have to win it and I doubt he would be able to do much to change the game. Let him get 100% right for the must win game against parra then he has the bye to get better.
