None of the Coles/Woolies stores here haven't had to implement those measures, so far that I'm aware of.
We still have no toilet paper, paper napkins, tissues, pasta, rice, flour, windex, sponges. If they get stock, it must go quick.

There must be merkins out there who have fully dooms day prepped and are not yet finished their haul.

One would think that the government or supermarkets would have put policies in place by now to straighten the triangle. Only issue we have here is flour.

We’ve been trying to go only once a week. Have occasionally had to stop in for something extra if needed, but we are trying to limit our time in supermarkets as much as possible. I wear plastic gloves every time I go in, take them off as soon as I’m about to get back in the car. I take my own hand sanitiser, but the markets around here are providing their own and wiping down trolleys, baskets as well.

I was able to get toilet paper, flour and brown sugar today which was unbelievable. Three items that have been impossible to find over the past month.

I don't think that most people would have hoarded in the first place, but they hear on the news that there's a stampede so they got in while they could. Having said that, the major supermakets have been slow in implementing ration purchases. Their daily sales data would have told them about progressive spikes a month ago.

Absolutely.
What I found funny is that when I went to Woolies I found it hard to get any meat that I wanted. I went 50m to the butcher who was pretty much fully stocked. I’d rather support the smaller business anyway, plus the meat was better quality.

The same scenario applied here as far as butchers go so it's a national thing. I don't have a pet but I wonder if those who do are having issues with pet consumables.

We don't use trolleys or baskets. We take in more bags than we need, fill half with our goods then use the other half to fill our purchases through the checkout process without trying to slow down the experience. Tap 'n go. Lots of anti-bacterial hand washing before we get back to the car.
It’s very exciting!!

Jesus. I haven't been taking any of these precautions. I just don't get close to people and onky going every 2nd week.

We’d wash our hands in Moet & Chandon.

When I was in the army we washed our weapons in diesel. And I don't mean our filthy cocks.
