I did some work in an Italian furniture store yonks ago and remember thinking it was pretty pricey stuff.People come in the store but they don't buy the furniture. It's quite sad.

Maybe. The last one I got was an amart job, a 2 and 3 seater for $550 I think. It's garbage but.I mean what's a lounge worth? I reckon 2-3k is reasonable.

It might have even been cheaper than that.No class.
It might have even been cheaper than that.I remember it was some crazy sale where the 2+3 seaters were less than the 3 seater alone. That should have told me something.

It wasn't just cheaper though. I would've bought just the 3 seater alone but getting both was cheaper than getting just the 3 seater.Understandable. They buy in container loads to get a good price for the 2 piece set (3+2 seater)
So for example they may have bought 500 units (in 3-4 different colours) of those 3+2 seater lounges
What can happen (Ive seen it) you could have a warehouse full of 3 seaters in different colours that are not selling, cause stores have split them up and mainly sold the 2 seaters (at decent pro rata prices). When you have get this type of scenario, you are unable to use that warehosue space for other products or lines that are selling. Lets face it , they aint storing CDs
One way to avoid this is to sell them as a set 3+2 (sale price and sells quicker than when split). If you want to split it up, sure, it will cost you more, or if not more close to the price of the set.
Basically The 3+2 is a sale price. Split them up, they revert to normal retail price
I recommend a recliner. Nothings finer. It wasn't just cheaper though. I would've bought just the 3 seater alone but getting both was cheaper than getting just the 3 seater.
Bandy is talking shit by the way. Would have picked up some shitty cane basket lounge from ABRACADABRA just so he could try his luck with D.
