I still think it's all related to the new rule allowing players to offload later in a tackle without risking being penalised in possession of the ball.
That was a fantastic rule change, but it means we need consistency in the held calls OR consistency in how long tacklers are allowed to hold an attacker up.
Personally, I blame Rapira and co for not playing to the whistle - but it's still a murky subject and I'd hate to see it decide a final...
