Noticable Lift In Confidence

Did anyone else notice, that as the second half wore on, our attack became crisper and more organised. Ok, still some more work to be done on last tackle options, but we were really asking questions of Newcastles defence in the second half. Great improvement on previous weeks.

Even the difference between the first half and second half was noticable. Maybe the whiteboard worked today. :D

The defence in the second half was outstanding. To be honest it wasnt that bad in the first half, but certainly improved in the second.

I did notice that. One particualr example in the lift of intensity in the second half was Michael Vella's performance. First half he was quiet but in the second half he really stood up.

Vella, Widders, Witt all noticeably lifted...Wags actually passed the ball 3 times (that I saw anyway) and Dykes ran FORWARD...amazing stuff
