Please, for a change. All this rumour of salary cap breeches etc has turned me into a cat on a hot tin roof displaying many characteristics that are less than pleasant and for which I'm not proud.

Our boys won a game last night and not one thread dedicated to it. So, how about that win?

Up by so many points to be almost run down. We've been able to claim that our second halves were defensively the best in the comp with, I think, only an average of six points being scored against us. The last three games have sort of shot this to pieces. We won our 9 on the trot last year with punishing second half performances. Lets hope we get it on track.

Bunnies... I knew the score before I watched it last night and, with 20 to go, I had to go back to livescores to check that I'd read it right. :lol: The Tigers gave a lesson on how to lose a football game. I still can't believe it and, if Morley's was a grade 2, then Fletch's is too.

Cowboys....cowboys....cowboys... I don't think the Knights were blindingly stunning, the Cowboys were just criminally awful. A few weeks ago they were threatening to steal a few so called big teams thunder, now...back to Jekyll and Hyde.

I had to watch LU updates for the score last night and I tell you what, I went from reclining at 30-4 to wailing at 30-22.

Obviously I didn't get to see the game so I can't comment. I had to laugh at my Son today when he informed me we were a one man team. Before the bile had erupted from my open mouth [teeth bared] he added that all good teams were one man teams. Luckily the light changed [we were driving] so I gunned the excelorator and replied "trust a novacastrian lover'

So not really having to much to add apart from I LOVE WALKER! :lol: I will entertain you with my day.

Jess has just found a nail in her two piece feed and we've had to go back with the nail and the rest of the meal. Of course I am writing to them as well. My pc has crapped itself again so I'm on sonny jims pc. Apart from all that I'm fairly tuckered out and could sleep till next week. :shock:

What I will say about the footy and the Roosters is that we are at the business end of the season and are on top of the ladder. I really don't think we could ask for more as supporters and I do beleive in my heart that we will make it into the GF.

Did you see it?

12 men for 72 minutes and they still score 50 odd points. Ok, the sea eagles fell apart in the second half but they couldn't beat a team playing with 12 men for most of the game. No wonder the manly fans went home in disgust and I had to laugh when the commentator said the players were probably glad most of the fans were leaving as there'd be less of them booing them when they left the field.

Some seriously blow out scores this weekend. We need to start shoring up our for and against.

what the hell happenned that Canberra were down to 12 men??

Was it a warranted send off - I only heard a comment on 2cc that the officls of Canberra said the hooker - hhhmm whatever - would or could get 6 weeks??

Woolford got Luke Williamson high. I only saw it twice but it looked bad. It probably warranted a sending off but I've seen players get away with an on report for similar offences. Full credit to the ref for having the guts to show him the red card though, I thought it was the right decision.
I thought you guys played very well in the first half. Cronulla came back in the second half as was expected but you always looked like you had enough to bring home the bacon. To be honest I can only see Canterbury standing in your way of a back to back Premiership now.

The offending tackle was a good one round the melon and Williamson was actually out cold - can't be accused of lying down to milk a penalty - I don't know about six weeks. Mind, there is the crackdown at the moment (wonder if whingeing Roosters caused that too), so bad timing but lets hope the incident is looked at with a cool head.

Paul The Cowboy, I think we've just become accustomed to very clinical second halves from our boys and the last few weeks have seen this go South. I think, considering the injury crisis we have faced this year and the callibre of player we have sitting on the sidelines at the moment, the team is doing well to be sitting at the top of the table - a better position than this time last year. There are certainly teams playing better than us at presant but we're doing enough to win and that's the bottom line. 5 on the trot.

but that all goes out the window if we don't make or loose the grand final - so many good teams in the running still and newcastlee's performance wow...

They are getting all their players back at the right time. I would hate to be playing them ina sudden death semi final..shudder (hope its the bulldogs that have to play them)
