Won't need to, Coast locals (plenty of whom support Manly and Souffs already) will be filling the stadium, plus plenty of neutrals who love seeing league here.

Plus if you can't get from Sydney to Gosford in 2.5hours (leaving at 5 assuming) then you're a sh*thouse driver. :)

Why does CC need a team again if there are 9 teams within 2.5 hrs and "plenty" of locals already support other teams?

Did you miss that "neutrals" part of the sentence?

Mate there's Souths and Eels and Tigers fans living in the Penrith area. Does that mean Penrith shouldn't have a team just because the population has other teams within "2.5 hours". Rugby league is built on tribalism. You can't just tell people to be fans of some other team, it doesn't work like that.

And also, Dragons fans that are whingeing about not getting enough free tv games in the first 5 weeks. Relax. You play us in round 6, you'll probably get a free tv game then:)

Once again you prove yourself to be an absolute Dickhead, show me these whinging Dragons fans. I think you'll find there aren't any. Majority don't mind not being on FTA

I'm not bothered by the schedule. However the defending Premiers should be opening the season every single year.

Fair enough, sounds like a good argument why the Central Coast shouldn't have its own team - all the residents support other teams.

It's just like you said. You can't just tell people to be fans of some other team, it doesn't work like that.

Somewhat surprised that our game V Canberra is on a Friday.

Hopefully we can improve on our 4/10 Friday record from last year (might have been more than 10?).

Expansion isn't about the current generation...

If you truly think that you have no idea about the Central Coast.

Can't remember the last time the Dragons weren't on a Friday night at least once for the first 5 rounds, Tbh it's a nice change

It is, isn't it.

Obviously it's good Dragons getting as much TV time as possible, but night games were getting old last season.

Souths have 4 friday night games in the first 5 rounds, including the very first game of the year. Bloody brilliant. You'd think I made that schedule. Now we better get off to a good start in those 5 weeks to get more games on free tv.

Nice to see all the whinging last year from that disgusting fat slob Richardson pay off.

How can a team who didn't even make the finals get more channel 9 games than the premiers

Not just more than the premiers, we got equal most overall. And the reason is 2010's 2nd best attack added the biggest buy of the offseason, very likely to be far and away the best attacking team in the comp, channel 9 wants teams like that, dragons play boring, channel 9 doesn't want that. We win 3 of our first 5 games and we'll get a lot more.

attack was overrated in 2010 due to poor defensive teams :D

for you roosters fans theres that word :)

anyway souths showed what happens when they come up against teams what can defend , they dont have the attack or defence other teams scored against them with ease

Bulldogs had the most Friday night games of all non QLD teams last year, yet our form was sh*t house. Goes to show just how well we rate.

And that's why you got basically nothing on free tv this year after winning a premiership?

No arguing that our defense was crap last year but that's why it's been a priority this offseason. As long as our defense is at least average we'll win more games than we lose by simply outscoring other teams, that's why we have so many channel 9 games.
