Just to let everyone know the Kotro Cup for 2003 looks like it will be played on either 6th or 13th December. Confirmation of date should come this week I hope.

So, if you are interested in playing for the Eagles, please PM me and let me know, or email me at leaguevoice@iinet.net.au. I do believe that Greg Presbury is organising your team so maybe you should contact him instead, hehe

As always comp will be played on Richie Benaud Oval, starting at 10am and going until us Eels beat the living crap out of everyone else! lol

Gotta love the controversy huh? I thought the game was gonna erupt a few times. Especially with those two guys blocking each other.

Just wondering though do you guys think that tigers chickie was cheating because the other tigers fans were going for the rooters? Cant blame her for what the other ones were going for. But i must admit i didnt see the pass or the put downs - so i cant say either way if you guys got rorted or not.

At least you guys made the final. One more than what we could do.

the other tigers supporters were going 4 the roosters but i wasnt going 4 anybody in particular! which is y the other tigers fans nominated me 2 b touchie bcoz they new i wouldnt b biased!
and its not my fault you guys threw it 4ward.....
and u no what pisses me off the most...when your gal was the ref and we apparently abused her :roll: she ended up crying bcoz of the abuse and u guys made us go up 2 apologise 2 her and we were the worst ppl out but yet u guys abused me 10 times worse and didnt care!
although i should expect that shouldnt i...you are manly the most pathectic team out! ;-)

it should be only adults doing the reffing and sidelines.

yeah i agree with ya when a saw a little kid was reffing our game i wasnt very pleased but he had a go

also on our girl she had a go i didnt see the incident close up maybe next time theyll have the video ref also on 1 of your girls crying i was angry with my team saying something along the lines of "we lose to manly that will be the reaso why"

anyway yas beat us good luck to yas but hopefully well get better next time

didnt realise all you guys took this so seriously.
good on you manly for getting there but dont u think training is taking it a step too far? the whole point of the day is not for competition but to be a social event.
the aggro levels seem to keep growing in these comps. before you guys criticise have a go of reffing yourself and see what its like.
i had 2 games out there and its not the nicest being told of by biased jokers.
i found the eels played the games in the best spirit throughout the comp.

just to set things a little straighter.

We called it “training” but all we did was have a muck around touch footy game between manly fans to get to know each other we have been having them for quite a few months (before any mention of the cup) as to keep in touch with Manly fans.

We weren’t out on the paddock hours on end practicing set moves or strategies.

mono mal....like MQ just said....the Touch get togethers by the Manly supporters were far from training....just social events to get supporters together and there is more beer drunk and sausages consumed than touch played :lol:
