I'm guessing he has some carry over points.
8 weeks just seems way too harsh. What's the grading?

I could understand a few weeks on the sideline given he was due to be slugged with both 50% and 20% additional loading levies for prior similar and non-related offences but 525 base points is f**king ludicrous.

We have little option but to fight this charge, in my opinion.

Going by that chart it looks like a maximum 8 weeks, not minimum.
This is one of the worst things that could have happened to us. We really need Paulo, especially against the Dogs and Souths

That's so over the top, the worst high tackle seen in over 12 months gets no suspension, the knee into the ribs is a lesser charge , ridiculous

Unbelievably harsh, Ballin got up and shook Juniors hand, and people wonder why they lose faith

There needs to be an investigation!!!! , I guess I'm biased but I didn't think he would get anything, fmd yet another inconsistent decision by the judiciary

How is that a grade three? No hands between the legs, no lifting, no malice. Big man dominating a little man. Ballin's head gets caught in an awkward position. It was actually a really solid tackle. He buried him into the turf. Watched the replay and both Sterlo and Gus thought he was unlucky. They both agreed that it wasn't so much a dangerous tackle as it was bad fortune.

We should easily get this downgraded to at least a grade 2, if not 1.

I was thinking 1-2 weeks worse and may even get off.
The thing is it was not intentional.Same as moses. I find that a tackle like a crusher or where reynolds tried too trip too be worse as there is intent and they have full control.
Anyhows maybe im a little biassed but even Phil who bagged parra all game said that was not a lot wrong with that tackle. And sterlo agreed.

Meh, expect nothing less from these inept morons.

I notice Thurston got away with his attempted trip.......

I hope you're right.
Watching it live I thought it was horrible. Said '3 weeks' before the ref blew his whistle :( In this day and age of 'dangerous throws' you simply cannot afford to fling people around like that

Have to at least get it downgraded.

Reynolds is charged grade 1, junior grade
3, so not really comparing apples with apples there.
