The previously struggling Panthers have won four in a row but are still fourteenth on the ladder. They know they're better than that. Their opponents, the Warriors, are tenth. Both sides know how important this game is. Cleary is out, but his replacement, Jarome Luai, is a gun.

Thursday night is a joke of a time slot that is only there for the TV networks rather than the fans. If people are working 9-5 in the city then taking an hour to get home from there, they aren’t going to make it to the footy unless you take time off work. I know in Manlys case you are zero chance of working in the city then getting to Brookie in time on public transport

Had to laugh watching the Manly game when they reported at 28-8 up Des sent one of the serves of the season through the walkie talkie to get the message to the players about how unhappy he was
