Well, there it is. The last two games of the round and the top-four play each other.
Raiders at home to Roosters, Rabbitohs to host the Storm (albeit on the Central Coast). They've been the best four teams all year, with perhaps the Sea Eagles the only 'outlier' threatening them.
Tonight's game used to be the highlight of the season but, of course, in 2019, both the Cowboys and the Broncos are also-rans. It should still be a good game though, only it doesn't mean much in regard to who eventually wins the competition. How the mighty have fallen.
The Sea Eagles, in true Manly v Warriors mode, should do the business over in Auckland. Remarkably, the Warriors are still in it! Yes, they are.
If they beat Manly, and the Tigers, Broncos, Knights and one of the Panthers and Sharks lose (they play each other), then the Warriors will be officially stalking those teams for the next round (they'll either be one point behind or equal on points, with bugger all regard to for/against). Ahh, we're clutching at straws, I know that. But still.
Johnson is up against a young half making his debut for Penrith. Time flies, ay? In 2011 Johnson was that debuting young half. I'm sure the experienced man will dominate the boy this time.
Dragons v Titans. Spoonsville. I bet both teams and fans want their season's over, so they can move on to next year.
