He and the owner haven’t gotten along for over a decade and that has certainly been stretched this year, and the new CEO Mestrov wants to rattle the place up and move on a lot of Des’ support crew which may lead him out the door. I’d heard he had proposed a plan a year ago where he would step back into a mentoring role and a new head coach would come in but nothing has happened with that either

Manly ended ten points from the eight, the Broncos missed the finals again for, what, the fourth-straight year? That's the Broncos we're talking about!

Well done Cronulla, ditto Cowboys. That's two really good seasons there.

Let's bring on the finals. It's Penrith's to lose. Imagine going so well but losing the big one. I might taunt them with that, it's all I've got.

If Cronulla had scored two more points against the Knights then we'd be 14th and the Knights would be 15th.

Cronulla scored a try with 20 seconds to go, they only had to kick the conversion to get those two extra points.

Luke Metcalf, a 2023 Warriors recruit, stepped up to take the conversion - and of course he missed it.

He hasn't even worn a Warriors jersey yet and already he's letting us down
