Who kicks field-goals for Canterbury? Now's their chance.

Edit, it's Cherry at the other end, of course. 13-12, Manly. Final.

Holy shit that was an ordinary 80 mins, we are always average in the wet and proved it again. Vintage Foran though, he had a blinder and the field goal specialist got it home, felt like de ja vu with that game against the Warriors that got us underway last year. Dry weather and they might have pumped them today

only thing as grim as the game was the commentary, I can’t stand Warren Smith, shit he loved the new grass, and Blocker, jeez mate you’ve commentated probably 50 games with the new rules where the ball kicked out isn’t a scrum, and at the end of the game, “manly will walk slowly to this scrum”

Penrith will likely stay top now, the Tigers probably will do the opposite. My worry is the Warriors are not going to budge much either, mediocrity rather than humiliation (the spoon).

Look at the Cowboys!

If anyone remembers it, Lion Red released a Mad Butcher figurine in, I reckon, about the late 90s or maybe early 2000s? The extra premise of it was it had audio linked to a Warriors game and when you played it, it would say something exactly the same at the same time of the game.

That figurine, is basically Blocker Roach as a league commentator.

Hahaha yeah I had one of those, they were outstanding

did anyone see the first Dogs try ? Olakauatu cleaned up the loose pill and got a swinging arm to the face which caused him to drop it for the Dogs to score, bunker weren’t interested

I thought it was ok. He had lost control before he got hit.

The new Fulton stand looks great. With the new turf as well, it looks good.

I’d pinned Hynes for flop of the season, but he has had a top start. Cheers to Trent Barrett for punting him from Manly telling him he had no future in the game …

kent on 360 last night was laughable sticking up for the knights bloke and blaming the Penrith guy for being elbowed in the chops

Can you provide the cliff notes for what Kent said? I cannot imagine how anyone could defend that with any level of seriousness. Didn't the NRL suggest 16 weeks?

Kent is one of those people in life that if you say the sky is blue, they'll look for an alternative viewpoint just to be a merkin. Chris Rattue the exact same. I guess they're oblivious to how f**king stupid it makes them look. Although they'd say they're only the 'real' ones who tell it how it is.

most laughable take I’ve seen, and he will back it up by blowing up about something minor later in the week

He seemed to be clearly playing devils advocate. Was arguing more for non deliberate vs intentional. Still believes 4 weeks.
You could see how quick a convo ends if everyone agrees when they spoke about Maguire walking away. No no not in his nature.

On Madge I thought it was more about not walking away in the last year of his contract and the Tigers, not having a replacement, will let him stay rather than buy him out.
