Harrowing hidings, rousing wins, thank God the extremes of Anzac Round are over for another year.

Now we're into the pre-Origin phase, it all about NRL footy. Tonight, the Broncos host the Sharks, we know Brisbane are one of those clubs that need to string a few wins together.

Friday, Titans fans won't have much home joy against Penrith. Souths and Manly is crucial, mid-table fare. Both those sides, with proven coaches, would expect better than their current position. Last year, Manly would say 'well, we don't have Tom, so we're doing well, considering' but this year they've shown they can win without the big lanky bugger at the back.

Saturday, can the shell-shocked Warriors bounce back against Sticky's landless Vikings? It could mean their season if they do. But Canberra are in trouble too. A loss here and it's 'new coach-talk' all over again. The Bulldogs might beat the Roosters, it's an OK bet that one. The Chooks aren't playing well. The Top-End hosts the Eels and Cowboys. It's great taking the NRL to Darwin.

Sunday, can the poor Knights hold Melbourne to a respectable score at home? We close out with the match of the round, Dragons v Tigers. After last weekend, with both sides having rousing wins, it's got people talking. One has to lose though, which will prick any balloons that have popped up.

Enjoy.

T Martin there chased ball, missed it going to ground, got up and just watched the play unfold instead of making a effort to get back as without a Fullback home Moylan just grubbered thru for himself to score.

That's not even the 1% stuff.
To many think its done when the ball goes past them.

Short turn round for Warriors an issue and the hiding we got. But they only played for 40 mins and didn't really tackle in the second half.

Can’t believe this is only 6-0, Sharks should be up 20

Schuster finally back tomorrow night, looking forward to that

Talakai v Staggs for an Origin spot, apparently.

It's currently 1-0 to the Bronco.

Brisbane go back-to-back and into the eight, albeit, perhaps temporarily.

The Sharks were average, no spark. Were they missing someone?

Yes a 34 point win by us knocks them out of the 8! Haha
No one missing from Sharks I know of huge importance.

Finucane didn’t play again, but it’s probably more the result of getting themselves up for big games the 2 weeks prior and being slightly off on execution, they were creating the opportunities but weren’t slick taking them

Raiders will dick us. They showed grit last week. We showed the opposite of grit.

Considering taking a couple of weeks off league. The Melbourne game knocked the wind out of my sails and it coincided with the SkyGo account I’ve been using for free for 5 years finally getting turned off. Piracy is tiring.

1st half going down 4-0
1st 10mins of 2nd half pulled out back to back tries.
Then 1 for good luck in last few mins.

Got a few calls go their way, not sure why no call or captains challenge on Titans player tackled after kick.

If Warriors winning and not getting hidings was a prerequisite for watching league we all should have given up years ago! 😀

Lawton sent-off! Sensational.

For a spear-tackle. It was accidental and the other player wasn't hurt one bit.

Not so fast, it might be one of your gutsiest wins.

Atkins will sort that out, Walker had 3 goes at Garrick’s face on the ground earlier and nothing, as soon at they have the ball the whistle is straight to the lips

the bloke hasn’t ever gotten over Fonua-Blake calling him a genius
