I saw that too. They might struggle for a bit, but they have to persevere and stick it out. It will be great for the game over here to have teams in those locations in the coming years as the NRL gains more local traction. More kids will be wanting to play the sport, so it's a better look for those clubs with juniors too also have top grade teams as well. It would be great to see Serpentine and Mandurah also in the First Grade comp sometime in the near future as well.
Make that 10 - Tigers and Titans have nominated too.

Whoops, I can't believe I forgot to include Alkimos, and to a lesser degree, Kwinana. I don't really know too much about them. They were only a junior club starting out when I was involved in the game here, and I've been in hibernation

Alkimos would have the best overall record in ressies in the last 5 years.

Saw that. How good?!
Included in the 2x double-headers is a Jillaroos game. Definitely looking forward to this moreso than the other 3 games.

Great news with an expanded ten team nrlwa men’s premiership for 2026!

Great to see the first grade competition expanding. Do we know if all 10 clubs intend to also enter sides in the Val Murphy trophy & third division?

Are there any other established clubs, outside of the Mandurah Storm, who might be able to make the jump in coming years?

The only two other clubs that I can think of in the wider Perth metro area that aren't featuring in next season's First Grade premiership is Mandurah Storm and Serpentine-Jarrahdale Serpents.

Interesting that he's chosen Kwinana, given his brother (maybe him too?) used to play for Willagee Bears.
