The problem i find with it is ...


After looking at the round 1 team, i'm not sure how 'good' of a deal this is for the Sharkies. Your reserve grade halfback (the player that would come into your 1st grade team if there are injuries) is playing and forming a combination with a player from another NRL team.

Melbourne are giving Cronulla $$$$, Cronulla are starved of $$$. Next year Melbourne are rumoured to have their own team back in the NSW cup. Simply, its all about $$$.

Not so much giving them dollars. But paying for the salaries of the Melbourne players in the team, which in turn means Cronulla doesn't have to spend any money on players who are unlikely to make FG. That all said, Cronulla are only an injury crisis away from being in big trouble in this sort of situation.
