Well in his defence he wouldn't have had a chance to f**kup the field goal had he not carried 4 defenders over the line and somehow got the ball down for a try to draw level.. but I digress as I don't think he should be there anyway.

More importantly if Jackson is anywhere near this team when we have Cords, Merrin, Graham, Friz and Lewis available then we need our heads read.. Merrin not getting selected last year was a very big WTF and that's saying something considering all the WTF selections we've had over the last 10 years..

edit.

honourable mention to Klemmer as well after his performance against the broncs. Although i'm putting him in with the props not the backrowers

This is a bit like Jason Gillespie's 200 not out for Australia. While it was no doubt appreciated, it's not what a fast bowler is expected to do. He didn't play another Test because there were better fast bowlers available. Pearce did what would be expected of a forward, this in no way advances his cause for selection as NSW halfback.

A conundrum for Daley with him having pencilled in Farah as the 9, while the Rabbitohs can only bring him off the bench for 7 minutes.

Peachey was never going to make the side, for the same reason Preston Campbell didn't.

Having better players in front of you is a perfectly legitimate reason.

If only we can get the selectors to use the same logic with that pussy cat moylan.

It's literally the reason GI picked queensland. When he was a teenager he billited with a Murri family in queensland. When the question of origin came up he's billet family said 'you know they don't pick koori's for the blues? '

Well let's see, in the early 2000s guys like Blacklock, Peachey and Campbell were playing great football yet weren't even considered for rep teams. Peachey lost out to Mark Hughes for fullback ffs and blacklock was outplaying Aignscough week in, week out yet cone. Origin time Aignscough was on the wing. Even Mundine should of played more rep. Hate him as a person but you can't deny he was a good player.
Then look north of the border. At the time Tallis was captain, Matt sing a regular and queensland weren't afraid to pick young Murri guys like hodges, Tonga and Thurston. If Thurston was born in nsw we'd be coming up with the same excuses that we dismissed Campbell for, too small, not tough enough, he is 'enigmatic' etc
