Loz is probably trying to convince Gal to come out of retirement for one more go around. Luckily with Sterlo there Merrin will be picked as long as his form holds.

No-one said much. All the outrage was due to Tedesco missing out. It was pretty much accepted that Merrin being dropped was a punishment for leaving the Dragons.

Not really, Teddy was injured for game 1 otherwise he would have been picked for sure.

Gallen the cxnt probably added to this since he was saying Jackson should be one of the contenders for captain.

He honestly should have nominated his own shark teammate who had a real good game in his debut.

why would he mention his own team mate? never been a team player, always been all about himself. i remember early in 2015 they had some injuries and had to play some fringe players and lost those games. he blamed the new players, not nrl standard he said. how would that feel if you were called up again?

Heard that on a number of talkback shows too. Agree he is fair bit off origin but he played all the junior rep teams and was one of the form players of the comp second half of the season. Strange to only have 1 half in the squad.

And like Vic said there is only 1 half on there and he's only played half a season In nrl...not to mention these are pretty much fringe origin players

Agree he probably needs a consistent season next year, and if he does so can't see why he's not ready by 2018
