Pearce's high kicks that landed just inside the ingoal and his long kicking was great. He only had two of his usual Origin special attacking kicks.

And he was otherwise good. No way he'll get dropped.

Pearce was absolutely abysmal. Nothing floater bombs that had as much penetration as a toddlers stiffie. Horrific short kicking game. Still yet to get a repeat set at Origin left. He is a complete fraud. We win by 80 tonight with a reserve grade standard halfback. He couldn't play for the Woolaware Wombats.

Pearce was very good.

Great inside ball to Fifi for the first try. Scored a try. Excellent pinpoint bombs which nullified Qlds kick return. And excellent in defence.

The only downfall were two poor kicks in attack on the 5th. Always been his achilles heel.

Otherwise very good and its onwards and upwards for Pearce in the Sky Blue from here.

How does a bomb penetrate exactly? What are you even trying to say? The bombs were from distance, they're generally not supposed to be contestable from out there, they're supposed to give the defenders time to get there and cut down the return meters. You know, like exactly what Cronk was doing, just not as well.

Usually when your half goes down you'd struggle for points... yet nsw scored more points with him off the field in almost half the time.

Lol one of those tries was a solo effort from teddy at dummy half and another a gift from qld but yes... all because pearce went off.

And the two tries when he was on the field was because of Fifita's individual brilliance and Graham &Tedesco combining to help Pearce fall over the like.

Pearce was a key part of that first try and backed up to score the 2nd. Did you want him to not back up?

I note you ignored my point.

Cronk was absolute rubbish with his kicking game tonight, (besides the cross field bomb). At least Pearce found grass on numerous occasions and his bombs to Oates were within his red zone so to gameplan, he outplayed cronk actually

We won and yet we still have the usual muppets being salty lol

What by throwing a pass to a guy who broke three tackles and popped an amazing offload? He was a key part in that :joy:

Backing up is something you'd expect someone to do, it's no different then Fifita catch the ball and falling over because the fell infront of him.

What was your point?

Yes. He gave the right ball at the right time which is his job. Not taking away from fifita at all. He was brilliant.

I agree but you seem to be hating on the bloke for backing up. Bizzarre.

You know what the point was. You just choose to deflect.

So he passed a ball to a guy who pulled of a miracle play and yet he was a key part in that?

I'm not hating him for backing up but I'm just saying he wasn't really instrumental in doing that. Some guy from park footy could do that.

No make you point clear and I'll answer it.

Hayne is not solid in defence at centre, but his rugby league being transcends positional inadequacies.

Dugan, well he'll probably be better next game.
Duges a bit tentative coming back after the busted cheekbone I reckon. He'll be fit and firing in Sydney.
