I have Wallace as my hooker.

But I certainly have McInness ahead of Peats - I don't really see what the fuss is about that guy.

Still not sure about my squad but have been watching lots of footy this year looking at hooker options and I think Farah is past it as most do but I don't think Wallace is the option either. My choice would be to go a rookie in Cam McInnes.

He has been abe to add some attacking spark this yr and I think he is the best option - what do people think

McInnes or Cook seem the future imo, just maybe not yet

Hard one. Peter Wallace might get the nod

A fair few darkies so I'm clearly not racist :D

This is actually pretty similar to my team, main difference is that I found space for Ferguson and either Boyd/Paulo.

I think Leilua has been far and away the best centre in the NRL and should be the first player picked for NSW.

Also J. Trbojevic is the best defensive middle forward in the game and would be my first forward picked. I think he is the perfect 13. Would prefer Merrin to come off the bench as his greatest strength is the havoc he can cause in the middle with his footwork and offloads.

The hardest position to pick is left centre/wing, on form Latrell Mitchell has looked far and away the best in attack, but he has shown some defensive lapses. With Boyd Cordner a definite for left edge forward, if Mitch Pearce is picked at halfback you might as well pick the entire roosters left side.

I think the most talented hooker for NSW is Damien Cook but he hasn't had enough game time coming off the bench to show what he is fully capable of. I'd see how he handles starting at hooker over the next month and choose between him and Wallace.

BJ has the same problem that Bryce Cartwright has - defence. Both are brilliant on attack and can open up any defence but their defences themselves are outright terrible and origin is won on defence.

Jake Trbojevic is great defensively but he's contesting the lock position with Merrin who is effective when he plays long minutes. For me you should carry only one of the two and atm Merrin is ahead on the pecking order.

Id call it a prop playing in the backrow

Yeah right.

Which is what I called it.

He only picked 3 props in the side. One of them he picked on the right edge. We can call it backrow if you prefer, but where they pack into the scrum isn't terribly relevant anymore.

The worry is that there is media talk that Laurie Daley is considering picking James Tedesco and playing him at left centre. I mean I would worry about a centre pairing of Tedesco and Dugan for New South Wales. Neither of those two are great defenders either.

Where did he say this?

Only meninga has brought this up as a possibility for the test side

Last year he was shit, year before he was a beast, year before that he was shit and the year before that he was beast. Maybe it's a trend with Tamou

Yeah, one word I would never use to describe Tamou is 'beast'. I know what he is capable of producing but f**k it's rarely seen.
