I have put either Fi, R or Fl next to each player to signify what grade they played on the week that I last bought a big League, round 7, or otherwise if I know they've played first grade. I can't believe there are 4 Bulldogs Flegg players in this side, yet they are running around in 9th place in Flegg. I'm sure the selectors can't be everywhere, every week, but how did Russ Aitken miss selection? He was the Aus schoolboys 5/8 2 years a go and the performances i saw him put on against Canberra and Parra were the best I've ever seen him play. He's been setting up trys and has scored about 7 or 8 trys from 9 games in Premier League. Most of which were individual efforts.

Also, are there QLDers in this side? If so, I would suggest Dimitri Pelo is unlucky to miss out, as he has been excellent in reserve grade on the wing. He was great for QLD in this game last year. Can they pick him for QLD even though he is playing for Cronulla????

I think Robbie Farah from Balmain was VERY unlucky to be honest - given that ranald schultz made the squad from Balmain flegg I cannot see why robbie who plays the same position but has mostly played first grade (and is easily the most advanced flegg-aged player Balmain have) missed out in his favour.

Is Farah still u/19?. Flegg is an u/20 comp this year so a lot of those players would not qualify for this team.

hmm not sure - you could have a point there

I thought he was around the same age as simon (bronson is definantly younger) but it might have turned out that simon just scraped in and robbie didn't

its the most logical reason on why he'd miss out so you're probably right

I don't know how Schulz qualifies for the NSW squad. He came through the Wests Panthers colts in Qld before joining Balmain.

Good to see big Dane Tilse in the side. The kid is a giant at 200cm

The place you play Origin depends on where you first play reperesentative football after the age of 16. He could of moved the year before he turned 16.

But in this game I'm sure its where ever you are playing right now. You can play under 19's for NSW and then go on to play Origin for QLD. That's why I am wondering what will happen with Dimitri Pelo?

Russ Aitken turns 19 this month so is definately eligable.
