NSWRL Academy Tour to RSA

Rugby League Review were advertising all year about interested parties going on this tour.

Did the tour go ahead or did it go the way most things the SARL promises, went? Anyone here know anything?

the tour went ahead and the group returned with a undefeated tour to their name.
tas baiteri said the NSWRL Academy Squad were a lot more skillful than their South African counterparts who were somewhat raw due to the standard of play in the country.
if i can remember correctly two groups may have actually made the tour.
