NSWRL Junior Rep Draw Released

The NSWRL last week released the draw for the 2012 Junior Representative Rugby League competitions.
The Dragons have four teams competing in the NSWRL Junior Reps – the St George Harold Matthews (U16’s) and SG Ball (U18’s) Cup teams, and the equivalent teams from the Illawarra Steelers.
The St George Junior Reps Draw is:
Rd 1 v Melbourne (home)
Rd 2 v WA Reds (home)
Rd 3 v Penrith (away)
Rd 4 v North Sydney (home)
Rd 5 v Cronulla (away)
Rd 6 v Balmain (away)
Rd 7 v Bulldogs (home)
Rd 8 v Manly (home)
Rd 9 v Newcastle (away)

Rd 1 matches commence on 11 February 2012.
Dragons HPU Manager Neil Lovett stated today “The Dragons boast a proud record in the NSWRL Junior Representative competitions, with one or more of its teams regularly qualifying for Junior Rep Finals matches. However, the real benefit of these competitions is the experience gained by the young players as they progress along the Dragons developmental pathway”.
