Good stuff. I used to play for the Newcastle Uni Seahorses and got a start for the tour of New Caledonia in 2002.

Top comp and representative selections is a great incentive to play in the comp.

Jamie Pappas was appointed SG Ball coach at Norths last season but left after one game after falling out with officials.

The Tertiary league city V country was played on Mon 21st July at western weekender
the game was of excellent standard with all players putting in excellent efforts for their respective sides.
this was the first year the event was held and as it was viewed as an excellent success by the league it is hoped the format will continue as an annual event. The current plans are to take the game to regional venues next year to promote tertiary rugby league in areas such as the central coast and south coast.

In an extremely tight and exciting game the lead changed several times before City held on a last minute onslought to win 22-20
