Holy worst New Year ever, Batman. Bounced between underwhelming venues, paid a $20 cover at a brewery at 11.40 just so we'd be inside, barely drank our money's worth before they closed at 1, and spent almost two hours in icy weather trying to find a cab while my underdressed girlfriend alternated between crying about the cold and crying because her heels hurt.

Ended up paying a guy 70RMB to double up on the back of his motorbike and got home angry and sober at 4am. Most expensive, shitty NYE ever.
