ok, for all you idiots that want to compare it to K. Hunt.
NZ sent an S.O.S to K. Hunt to play for his country of birth. he then refused(which he is well within his rights to do) to play for the Kiwis so he could play SOO.
NZ has asked J. Thurston to play for the country of his father's birth. he hasnt replyed yet but he would be ok if he wants to because Australia or Queensland havent sent him a S.O.S to play for Australia or Queensland. and lets face it, he wont be taking Darren Lockyer's place in the QLD or Roo's jumpers anytime soon.
If Aussie or QLD needed him and asked for him then it would be more like K. Hunt.
He hasnt turned his back on his country of birth. hes just realised that they dont need him and he would be able to get further in the black jearsey.

hmm this is just stupid...it doesnt make sense

so if thurston plays for nz...obviously he has turned his back on aust, because he was born in aust, regardless if they want him or not :?

whats the go with all this s.o.s stuff too

its abotu developing the game of rugby league, and the only way to do this is by australia losing.
i mean, even aussies want the kangaroos to lose (a lot of them anyway).
its for the good of the game.
we would rrather see a competitive nz team that can match oz, thana more-all-conquering aussie team.
and to do this, good nz eligible players (and there arent a whole lot of kiwis in the nrl compared to oz) must play in black.
therefore, its more dissapointing than anything to see hunt turning down the chance to strengthen nz. and he is wasting an opportunity to develop rugby kleague as a game.
thats why everyone hates himk, because he chose to be selfish when he had the opportunity to help the game

Let me get this straight.

So it is alright for Thurston to maybe played for NZ even though he was born in Australia.

But it is not OK for Hunt to maybe play for Australia when he was born in NZ.

Does Karmichael Hunt have an australian parent? If so I take everything Ive said bagging him wanting to play for Australia. If he doesnt thats why its not OK for him to play for Australia(if he ever makes it). Johnathan Thurston has kiwi blood in him Does Karmichael have Australian blood in him? I dont particularly agree with Brent Webb playing for NZ but Im not complaining, we need him!I dont think Australians are complaining either its not like they need him!

thats probably my fault for not putting it out properly.

this might make it easier for the dirty hoe to read.

ok, for all you idiots that want to compare it to K. Hunt.
NZ sent an S.O.S (for the dirty hoe this means a call for help) to K. Hunt to play for his country of birth.

he then refused(which he is well within his rights to do) to play for the Kiwis so he could play SOO.

NZ has asked J. Thurston to play for the country of his father's birth.

he hasnt replyed yet but he would be ok if he wants to because Australia or Queensland havent sent him a S.O.S (do i need to explain it again you hoe?)to play for Australia or Queensland.

well the way SOS works in the sentence..... NZ have no depth at fullback and they needed K. Hunt to play there, they were calling for his help.
unless Aussie really need J. Thurston i think it should be fine for him to play for NZ.

as for you playing for auckland, you can also use the SOS analogy.
Auckland really needed the services of a top quality Orange boy.
your cutting and peeling skills were needed in the kictchen ASAP.

Isn't it funny that Thurston is the only player who can help the Kangaroos from getting completely obliterated every time we play them.

Now Aus need him to make international league competitive

^Aus probably would have won 0 tournaments.

We would have won the 2006 Tri Nations at the very least. He won that for them.

Australia had 20+ players unavailable for selection. Not just Thurston. Ontop of that we had Sheens selecting ridiculous teams and overlooking some great players for average ones. Sticking by Walker who was just horrible, not selecting McGuire when we had our top 5 props out. We could have won without Thurston.

Hayne in for Walker and Australia win. McGuire in and we probably win. Anyone of Scott, Gallen, Fifita etc. fit and we probably win.

This was the weakest ever Australian side. it still made the final. They were much better then the rostervon paper should have been.

and by the time australia play a meaningful test again, oct 2016, most of those 20+ players you had unavailable for selection won't be available for selection cos most of them will have likely retired

What shit excuse you know the Kiwi's were missing key players too.

Typical excuses using Sheens, hey we got Kearney bro so that cancels that joke of an excuse

Kiwi's will be No.1 after the ANZAC test

And you don't think the kids that played won't be better players by then?

no...australia getting to the final owed more to two brothers in refs jerseys than kids in kangaroo jerseys..

and out of the "next-gen" players that took the field the youngest one, sione mata'utai, was the only one that looked like a kangaroo....the rest where just NRL players
