just saw on CH 9 - that NRL investigating Manly on allegations of TPA and Salary cap dramas.
Once again if true the murky world of TPA unraveling again..
When will the NRL draw a line in the sand about this rubbish..

Why is it the NRL only ever trips over the 'dead bodies' provided by the disgruntled whistle blowers... they never find them. What do they actually do there?

And of course even when they are caught .. some are deemed more equal than others- this will amount to a slap on the wrist. Lest we forget the great Andrew Gee debacle.

We are run by self serving, inept cronies .. but I would venture to say, they are only a sideshow compared to the main players in the big top.

I think our great game has peaked .. the empire has been ruined by cronyism, greed, mismanagement and a lack of transparency.

I guess the thimble and the pea rolls on while ever there are mugs willing to pay.

Remember the great cry that an Independant commission was going to fix everything that's wrong with the game?
What did we get, another gravely train for some old codgers to ride on while the game slowly dies.

Smash them if found guilty, but I hate how these things take off and guilt is assumed immediately. I mean, nobody cares now that Manly were cleared of their match fixing scandal in 2015, but at the time shit was flung everywhere.

Unfortunately it automatically becomes ammo to talk shit on another club and an excuse as to their success

Apparently most teams are involved.
The nrl have stuffed it again.

When will clubs ever learn that you can run a successful club and still always remain under the cap.

The nrl need to get real and employ a person who has the knowledge to show how good wholesome law biding clubs need never go over the cap, yet you can still get your man.

Show us the way uncle Nick.

Nothing will come of it
Nrl will want to sweep it under the carpet asap
I think it's time to ban clubs that are caught
For every million over the cap 1 year ban
May make clubs think twice before rorting the system

Sop you
Why for being too successful?

Lol!

Shyte we have some butt hurt over here.
So your club is beyond reproach and never borders on anything remotely illegal?
IMO all clubs would be in breach of some part of the legislation governing the NRL just some more than others.
By the way peptides is not having a Pepsi at the beach waiting for the tide to come in and interesting how your beloved skipper was contemplating suing his club.
No doubt all squeaky clean at your club

As much as I love sticking the boot into Manly, I still remember that Mark Gasnier thing in 2010 (I still can't believe we got away with that). Manly are the only ones who have been named, and while I'm sure the Broncos, Chooks, Dogs etc will all be a focus of investigation, I'm not naïve enough to believe that the Dragons are innocent.

Intelligent reply.

Yes, Cronulla very successful club since 1967 (sarc)

Crime commission now involved (no right to silence) in current scandal

I cannot/will not go into detail about Cronulla. But it is smelly, and it's not the swamp or yoda breaking wind
