Excellent partnership. Liked how early on they just peppered the inner circle with cheeky singles. The Windies yet again missed a trick by just allowing it to happen.

West Indies will probably get cleaned up for less than 150. Boult and Fergusson have cleaned them up

The ICC should intervene here, if Hunry Knuckles scores runs against you, your status as an international side must be questioned.

His ODI record is fairly good. It's his test game that needs work.

He still plays the shovel pull to get out in both versions. His slog sweeping in yesterdays odi was rather grand. Henry cuts well and sweeps well. But the rest of his arsenal looks less impressive. But while yesterday restored hope if not faith in the selectors - I am still not convinced he's better than Tom Bruce in any format.

Was inclined to agree, then remembered Mitch Marsh scored a big test 100 the other day

ODI cricket is actually the west Indies worst format. A few years ago ABD villiers and Corey Anderson FFS were smashing them all around the park, they haven't got better since then, they are now way behind Bangladesh in 9th spot and probably favourites to go behind Afghanistan too.

The state of international cricket is at an all time low.

Yeah, there are hardly any test series now that look genuinely competitive from the outset. It's a good thing this sport has so much history behind it or it'd be dying fast.

You forgot about the Aus Bangladesh tour quickly

You'll note I said 'hardly any' and not 'none'.

Most test series are a lay down misere before the first ball is bowled.

Eng SA anywhere
SA Aus anywhere
NZ Eng anywhere
SA in NZ

SL just beat Pak in UaE.

Anyone (Asian or not) touring Bangladesh of late is interesting.

There's still a lot of good test cricket despite the Asian spin divide and home conditions dominance which I agree with you on.

If Aus is 5th in tests with the best batsman and self proclaimed "best attack" - someone is playing good cricket somewhere.

Pakistan home series are interesting too with their strong bowlers and weak batting post Younis and Misbah.
