Widders, Pearson, Muspratt and Hopkins

Not sure of others.

Thorman has a 1 year option at his advantage so he gets the decide if he stays in 2005 or not.

We have far too many locks at our club. Smith must have some sick fetish for locks. Only one or two (max) of the 3 locks (Widders, Hopkins & Muspratt) should be re-signed. Pearson will retire at the end of the season.

Riddell & Kite have been told to "shop around" - get the cheque book out Fitzy!

Pearson is currently helping with the coaching side of things and will only play if we are desperate; that always seem to be the plan. Grothe is also off-contract but there is an option in the club's favour which should be extended immediately. I was just looking at what areas we need some much-needed quality and have identified a couple of areas.

1. 2-3 centre/wings depending on Jamie's decision (Utai, Tahu, Roberts)
2. a mobile second-rower (Harris, Morrison, Kite)
3. a top-rung half if those that are available go onto the open market (Orford, Johns)

The last one might be stretching the budget, but a guy can dream.

i think we should definalty resign Hopkins, he has been a great buy since we bought him last yr, i'd let Widders go and a few other including Wagon, Vella, Petersen, Vaealiki (not sure if some are off contract) they have done jack all since 2001, players that are off contract and i think we need are quality backs such as (Utai, Faafili & Whatuira) and another classy second rower (Morrison) we have cover for all other positions in my opinion

He seems to like to buy players from clubs below us on the competition table. Which we only have players from NZ and Souths to choose from.

True and they bring their loser attitudes to our club which doesnt even have a winning culture anymore. Look at how good Morris and Grothe have been for us, and they both came from successful clubs.

Roberts Will be HOT property this year. I doubt that Penrith Could afford him the way he's been playing.

I'm pretty sure that Penrith have an option in their favour on Roberts, not 100% sure though
