Apparently Manly have stupidly offered Matt Lodge a 2 year deal @ 150k per year

Even more stupidly, but thankfully, the dopey prick has turned it down. The entitlement on the bloke is unbelievable

He’s a piece of shit but judged purely on his on-field abilities he’s worth significantly more than 150K.
Some club desperate for front row stock will give him an offer.

Apparently the Dogs played $600k under the cap this year, were also paying 900k to players that are now at other clubs, and are looking to offload Addo-Carr @ 500k, will be interesting to see what Gould turns that into. They had 3 guys out all season this year too

lol Yeah It was that article that prompted up on my socials. I jumped the gun way too fast there.
As Beave said, he was brawling in the recent past. He was dropped from the Kangaroo squad last September after a sideline stoush at the Koori Knockout.

He seems to be feeling the pressure of being a big star, which is a shame because he's a nice fella.

Koori knockout gets pretty loose. I wouldn’t judge him too much on that one. Reminds me of the time Rua Tipoki broke both his hands punching on at a Māori rugby tournament in Opotiki

if Dogs are offloading him, he's someone a lot of clubs would be interested in, maybe they'd take DWZ back? :p

I personally wouldn’t take a swap. I don’t don’t think JAC is a bad dude or anything but it’d be a huge risk for us to sign a Koori lad with a big network in NSW like him- very high chance of him getting homesick and bailing. Just not a good fit for us.
