Whats the go with the offical forum,Does anyone know.What was meant to take 2 weeks seem to have taken 2 months.Any info on if or when it wil be back up and running will be much appreciated.

I emailed the club within days of it closing 2 find out what was going down and the lady replied it would b 2 weeks from then. Now i think that would have had 2 b bout 2mths ago im not sure

sincas came on here and said that the site wasn't getting shut down but it was getting the server upgrade that we all wanted it to get..
he recons if it was getting shut down he would know sumthing about it..

it's been down for a hell of a long time tho.. you'd think a server upgrade wouldn't take this long..

They know there are a lot of regular posters AND even more regular readers....to just leave that standard BS message on the forum page for nearly 7 weeks, and not update us with thats going on is very very poor.

You dont have to look far to find amateur, B-grade anything when it comes to Wests Tigers ....sometimes I really really wonder why I bother.

The admin are going to definately re-open the forum, but at the min are also updating all the IT services at once, hence the task taking a little longer than first anticipated, because they are trying to get the best long-term result, capacity, etc.

Because the forum was continually crashing, and to avoid this in the future, the admin is looking at better allround options that will link in appropriately with the site, and also be a better format for Roar News. (The admin decided NOT to get a "quick-fix" solution, but rather a fantastic system to cater for everything.)
