as a winger, he's perfect, but none of us (me included) want him at fullback...

but is he REALLY that bad? sure, his attack is no were near stewarts, but their nearly the same in defence (brett's never been a gun in defence imo)... he didnt really make any spectacular blunders in the first 4 games, imo most of the tries scored against us were through the inexperianced wings that we had (where robbo and williams SHOULD be)...
we still have a quality team to make the 8 EASY (sh*t, stewert didnt even score in last years gf, so we can't be that much of a "one man team")

i'd rather bitch about the the space robbo would leave (and who will fill in) on the wing, than blame him for trying to do the difficult job at fullback...

but hey, i wish ANYONE was out injured than snake..

I'm trying to think of a polite way to put it...........Robbo is a winger. That's the best I can do.

Brett is one of the best fullbacks in the world, so to an extent we've been a bit spoiled. In the past couple of years, Robbo has been able to fill in and do a reasonably good job only because the team was flying. Right now, though we are struggling and we need a better option.

It seems obvious to everyone but Des. The Wolfman should be the one to cover for Brett, both now and in the future. The only weak part in Bretts game is his kick returns. He has a tendancy to jog up to the defence hoping for a gap. Dave Williams just tucks the ball under the arm and runs hard and straight, that's what we really need right now.
