Melon, would you consider letting us publish some of your old worl sevens articles when the sevens website is up and running? Theres some fantastic articles lost when the split happened - especially the Mullins one.

Mate go for your life. I think Ive actually kept some copies, not sure, but I would appreciate if you could dig up any for me.

I was hoping you had them. :lol: If you could have a rummage around the old hard drive, CD's etc and see what you have, we'd really appreciate it. We're trying to get a collection of some of the 'lost' articles together for a walk back memory lane. Hopefully the website will work that there will be a section where you guys can publish them yourselves. If not, I'll get you to email them to me, if thats ok.

That goes for any of the old VM crew too.

Cant find the buggers anywhere. The only place I know theyd be is on rleagues archives in their now offline forum. But I wont deal with them, so its up to you to email their admins and request the files.

I doubt it very much that anything to do with sevens would have been kept. I didn't get off on a very good foot with Tigertread and as for zef and reasonable in the same sentence :lol: :lol: :lol: ;-)

I'm not, nor ever was, involved in RLeague management. I just did a bit of "enforcing" in The Bulldogs Forum and then somehow got myself involved in the war - but the war is over, peace man.

The bloke who you'd have to contact would be the fella known as "Lester" (real name I think is James Stewart). He ran the boards over there and still does as far as I know. He'll be your man.

Actually thinking about it - I got that wrong. James Stewart's the fella who used to call himself "Polly98" or similar and runs the Debate Page. "Lester" is Matthew something or other, also I think now he goes by the handle of "Sherwin" ever since the real Lester went over to the dark side..

After my discussion here with Mr Stewart, I'd be even less likely to get a response. Ahh, the joys of being popular. ;-) Never mind, we will sort out what we can. Theres alot of members who saved many a game to their hard drives. it's just a point of encouraging them to look. May be a job for my 'after holiday' blues when I have to come back to cyber reality. LOL
