As there seems to be an exodus of, up until recently, staunch F7's protagonists, I suggest that we create a rule featuring all those Old Farts (I know that is not accurate but it seems an appropriate title) or it could be called Masters, whereby at any stage of a season these dinosaurs could return to their former club or the club of their choice (only one club in a year) as a non-registered player and play an occasional game (perhaps wearing purple shorts).
