Just getting off Parramatta's dramas for a tick. Great Crowds for NRL this week.

Brisbane vs Dragons 27,589
Cronulla vs Souths 13,721
Newcastle vs Storm 17,281
Raiders vs Manly 9,229
Roosters vs Warriors 10,078
Panthers vs Bulldogs 19,856
Tigers vs Eels 18,883

All good besides Raiders vs Manly and Roosters vs Warriors. Even Cronulla got a good crowd for a game against the bunnies considering they usually struggle to pull 11,000.

I know for a fact that David Moffats goal was to have average crowds of 20 000.

That was unheard of a couple of seasons ago. But, it is slowly becoming a reality.

Go the Rugby League.

The save Leichart Oval Campaign has worked which is good to see. They pulled almost 15 000 against Manly a few weeks back and today they got almsot 19 000.

116 637.

Its a great attendance figure for the weekend.
An average of 16662.43 (that would be a the odd kid).

We can't get within a Bulls Roar of that Nancy Boy sport of the AFL, but for the Leaguies, its a cracking result.

At the risk of sounding old and bitter, but it's good to see league getting back to where it was before the Super League debacle.
