I had a look for it the other day and had no luck...in a major record store.

Did you have to order it or was it only just released?

JB Hi-Fi here in Canberra has it. Picked it up at lunch time today and will give it some volume tonight. My wife is out with her quilting group so I'm looking forward to it (more so than Ca Ira, anyway).

Got it yesterday.

Hmmmm

One bonus was it put my baby son to sleep almost instantaneoulsy.

What was I thinking??
I hated PF songs without R.Waters .

It has some pretty boring parts on it.
Songs 6 and 7 are quite torturous...7 has the same little lick right through out the song.

The slide guitar is pretty interesting.
I will give the old bloke some credit though...his voice is in fine form.

Overall it seemed a bit sad...like as though this album is the end of the road for him.

The best song for me was the little acoustic one where all that sterile compression is stipped off his vocals.
Some of it reminded me of those early DG sung songs on those movie soundtracks they did in the very early 70's.
Songs like Stay and bridges burning.

Anyway I'll it give a few more listens before I make a definite decision....I just wont be operating machinery whilst listening to it.

it made no 1 on the UK album charts

not bad for a 60 year old who has been in retirement for years
