Alright, who else has had one of those days where everything you touch turns to gold with the bookies?
I experienced a GREAT one today, just after I went and spent a couple of hundred on Christmas presents. Here's how it went.
- Boxed up 1, 2 and 5 on Melbourne race 2 for $1. WIN. Collect - $85.40
- Had $10 on the nose of Sniper's Bullet in Sydney race 2, and also had a $5 quinella on it and grand cause in the race. Collect - $50.
- Put $5 on Our Apache to win Melbourne race 4. Collect - $30.
- Put $10 on the nose of Star of Canada to win race 5 in Brisbane after a hot tip from a mate. Collect - $92.
Deadset incredible. I know the winnings weren't in the thousands, but when you consider the sheer consistency of winning, it's tops. i was tempted to do more but instead wisely quit while I was this far ahead.
All up...
Spent: $36
Collected: $257.40
Xmas presents completely paid for. I might quit punting altogether on this wonderful note!
Post here and relive your best days on the punt.
