Tame Tupou - 2006 - Two try Tupou was one of the best finishers in the game that year and would absolutely stampede through the defence. However, injuries and a lack of discipline kept him from progressing and despite making his Test debut that season, he quietly departed sometime in 07, never to play NRL again.

Man its rough hearing about these guys that do so well then injuries take away their careers

Jordan Atkins, and it was 4 tries. Jordan Rankin is a five-eighth/fullback who was touted as the next big thing at one point for the Tits, but has proven to be decidedly average in his few top grade appearances to date.

Another couple of rookies of the year who never kicked on: Jason Martin and Matthew Rodwell.

Leon Bott. Sharks signed him didnt they. Thank christ. Bennett would probably have persisted with him for 2-3 more seasons like he did with BLUDDY Stu Kelly who i feel deserves a mention.

Vaea Taliai in 1994 for Souths. Played a half dozen games and scored some scything tries then disappeared.

Leon Bott would have to be close to the top of the class though.
