I can't believe the media haven't sung his praises.
A medium distance drop kick stole the limelight I guess.
For mine, Cameron Smiths performance in Origin 1 was quite possibly the most impressive game of rugby League I have ever witnessed.

80 minutes 55 tackles for 1 miss!!
5 DHR's for 50 metres
8 general play kicks that were all inch perfect & threatened for 40/20's
0 errors.
If the Storm got him for 350K a season, they got him cheap!
He would also be a killer halfback.

He's definately a future Australian hooker.

Melbourne have a knack of picking up these relative unknowns and turning them into rep players in just a couple of seasons.

They really do recruit well.

Just look at Orford
Hill
Slater
Geyer
etc. No one had heard of them when they were recruited.

But most clubs would want them now!!!!

i think being a future Aust rep player is a little beyond his reach, he is good but there are better

When Craig Wing Moves to 5/8 and Buderus Retires, He'll be the games undisputed top Hooker. He was a Halfback for the Devils before Bellamy transformed him into a Hooker.

He will be on the top of many teams shopping lists once he is on the market I think. Anyone know when that is?

He also backed up with another solid performance for Melbourne against Newcastle last night, with 43 tackles
