The Hammersmith Hills Hoists Rugby League Football Club are calling on all those interested in playing rugby league in London to come along to an open training session to be held on 6th and 13th February at Lillie Park, Hammersmith at 2.00pm.

The open training session’s are open to all people, from beginners to those more familiar with the game. The afternoon’s will consist of a meet and greet, some light ball work and games and a BBQ and some beers, a Hoists tradition.

All interested players are invited to attend even just to watch. This is by no means a try out, merely a way for those interested in the game to come have a look and a run around and some fun while learning about our club and the game of rugby league.

Training Details:
When: Saturday 6 & 13 February, 2.00pm
Where: Lillie Park, corner of Fulham Palace and Lillie Roads, Hammersmith
About the Club
The Hammersmith Hills Hoists Rugby League Football Club was established by Aussie expats living in West London who realized the surrounding areas of Hammersmith, Ealing, Acton, Shepherds Bush and Fulham lacked a rugby league team despite possessing many potential players from Australia and New Zealand.
The inaugural 2009 season for club was a great success which saw the club take out the Skolars invitational 9’s, London League competition and the ANZAC Rugby challenge.
The interest generated by the clubs success has led to its expansion with a team to defend the London League crown and a first grade who will compete in the Rugby League Conference, Southern Premier Division.
The ‘Hoists’ home ground is Twyford Park, Acton.
